Hi I am Leelavathy I would like to inform that I was diagnosed block in my heart so I went and met Dr. Kathiresan. They way he explain to me OMG none of the doctors explained like that in that moment I thanked God saying you have sent me to the safer hands . Bcoz I am diabetic patient so he took my full history. He made a drawing and showed me how is my heart with the blocks and he said we have to do step by step. First he checked complete blood and urine test and for one month gave medicines and BP checking morning and night and send to his assistant. At last the day came for angioplasty he did it in Apollo Hospital in greams road . Now two months completed I visited him for the review he was satisfied seeing my results thru ECHO said good improvement and also he explains abt what medicine he has given for what reason. Good doctor, clearly explains the problem, also confirms what is not the problem (which is important in this age where we Google for symptoms). Advised on what exercises to follow, does not unnecessarily prescribe tests and also gives a list of dos and donts for food, even before the consultation! It's rare to see such doctors who listen to patients and explain clearly nowadays. The clinic was neatly maintained, junior doctors were knowledgeable and explained procedures clearly. Consultation+ some procedures like TMT took a total of 2.5 hours with around 5-6 other patients there, plan accordingly. Charges looked reasonable - both for consultation and procedure. Would definitely recommend for your heart related queries.
